Mac in a Keyboard lurking inside? That’s what a recently unearthed patent from Apple reveals. The patent says Apple is looking to mix a Mac mini with Magic Keyboard. The keyboard stores all the computer’s components which you then plug into a monitor to build a full computer system.
When Will the Mac in a Keyboard Be Released?
The only piece of evidence that we currently possess that suggests this could become a reality is a patent that was found by Patently Apple and describes a whole Mac that can be housed in a keyboard. The application, which was given the title Computer in an Input Device and was submitted before the end of 2020, was not made public by the United States Patent and Trademark Office until the beginning of 2022.

It is far too soon to make any accurate forecasts regarding prices. It is possible that it will be priced similarly to the Raspberry Pi 400, which implements a similar concept at a lower cost, but it is more likely that it will be priced similarly to a conventional desktop computer such as the Mac mini.
